Description

Moon Point is a unique area known for its botanical variety and habitat diversity. The trail crosses wet and dry meadows, rocky cliffs, and passes beneath high-elevation conifers. In addition to the wildflowers, the views from Moon Point are fantastic.

Directions

Proceed 2 miles east from Oakridge on Highway 58 to Kitson Springs Road. Turn right and proceed for 0.5 mile, then turn right on Road 21. Continue for 18 miles to the junction with Road 2129. (If you come to Secret Campground, you have gone too far.) Turn left on Road 2129 and continue approximately 9 miles to the trailhead on the right.
