CommentsThere were many varieties blooming in the meadows near the lake, including: Western Coneflower (Rudbeckia occidentalis), Blue-Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium idahoense), Western Bistort (Polygonum bistortoides), Shooting Star (Dodecatheon sp.), Bog Orchid (Platanthera dilatata), Larkspur (Delphinium sp.), Agoseris sp., Tiger Lily (Lilium columbianum), Red Columbine (Aquilegia formosa), Lupine sp., Cat’s Ears (Calochortus sp.), Fleabane (Erigeron sp.), and others.

In a feeble attempt to document the incredibly profuse beargrass in the higher meadows, I recordedtwo videos.
